In both year 2 classes we have been learning all about the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have built 3D shapes using cocktail sticks and blue tac, this was quite tricky. Some of us made large scale 3D shapes to help us. We have been talking about edges and vertices too! ‘Look I’ve made a 3D shape…it’s a cube”.
