In Year 2 we read Sulwe by Lupita Nyong’o. We also learned all about Rosa Parkes and how she helped stand up for Black rights in America. If you log into Espresso with your child and search Black History Month, then click on videos, choose the Rosa Parkes one. Or even better, ask your child to tell you how she made a difference to people’s lives.
