Early Words Together

Children and parents from Reception and Nursery have worked together to complete a program from The Literacy Trust. Early Words together emphasizes the importance of stories, communication, language and interaction between parents and children.

We have fully immersed ourselves in stories by making puppets, writing shopping lists and letters, we celebrated a birthday for Lettice the Rabbit, we followed instructions to make sandwiches and even danced in our underpants!

We have had great fun together.

We have visited our local library to further enhance our love of stories and reading.
