The Nursery visited Hall Hill Farm. We traveled on a coach and enjoyed looking out the window and talking to our friends as we were very excited for our journey.

At the farm we met lots of different animals. Some animals were small and we could hold them on our knees and stroke their soft fur or feathers. We could recall lots of different facts that we had learnt in nursery about the animals. We fed some of the bigger animals too, the lamb needed a bottle of milk and was very hungry. The goats ate food out of hands which we knew to keep very flat so the goats tongue tickled our fingers.

We had a ride on a tractor which was very bumpy. The farmer took us around the farm on the tractor and we saw lots more different animals including wallabies, lamas and alpacas.

At lunch time we enjoyed a picnic together in the barn and we were able to play in the big indoor play area racing down the slide and climbing through the obstacles, having fun with our friends.

We had a very busy day at the farm and some of us even had a little snooze on the bus ride home.
