Today, Remembrance Day children shared a 2 minutes silence to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth. We will remember them.

As we continue to support some of our children who are learning remotely, we would like to share a new video in our Remote Learning Support video series. The aim of this video is to support children and parents in logging onto the Google Drive app on an ipad.
As always if there are any questions please contact the school office.
Thank you for your ongoing understanding and commitment.

In order to assist you in accessing work and resources created by staff in the event of whole class isolation, we have created a series of helpful videos providing a step by step walk through of the process.
Here are the first two videos which will be available in the Covid 19 support section of our website.
Should you have any questions or problems please contact the office.
Thanks

Congratulation to Blake and Katie our golden belt holders. They were recognised as roll models by Beth ensuring they followed the Judo code at all times.
Well done to Leon and Ella May our Judo Players of the month. They both showed great respect throughout this month and have made great progress.
Green class enjoyed visiting All Saints Church and meeting Father Mervin. The children were able to immerse themselves in the Church environment and see the key features they have learned about in class. The Children learned a lot about the Christian faith and showed great respect.
This week our whole school enjoyed taking part in a day of skipping. For many of our children this was a new experience which they thoroughly enjoyed. Gail our skipping coach was extremely please with progress all our children made throughout the day. Some children even demonstrated their new skills during a celebration assembly at the end of the day. The children are now looking forward to practicing their skills further on the yard during play time. We are hopefully taking part in the South Tyneside Skipping Festival later this year. Keep checking back to see our progress.
A big thank you to all the adults who joined us in celebrating harvest.
The children enjoyed preparing the vegetable and crusty bread before sharing it with their grownups.
We all agreed the soup was delicious!
To keep us fit, healthy and active we now have a running track which loops around our yard. We aim to run, jog or walk around it as many times as we can, trying to beat our score from the day before. We enjoy running around our tack every afternoon. It is a brilliant way to get our brains ready for more learning in the classroom.
